'Shakespeare and Company' in Paris is one of the world most famous bookshops. Originally the haunt of literary greats, such as Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein and James Boyce, it later became the principal meeting place for Beatnik poets: Allen Ginsberg and William S. Burroughs were both visitors.
Bought this book 2 month ago and only a few weeks back I managed to start reading it.
Reading the first few chapters of this novel, I already fell in love with the book. The storyline never make you feeling bored. I got to know this book from a forum that recently joined and I really enjoyed the story description of how the author bump into this bookstore called Shakespeare and Co.
If you're a books lover or bookaholic, yet you haven't visit the bookstore itself, then you'll enjoyed the every corner, the environment and the descriptions of the "hostel bookstore" which Jeremy will detailed it out for you and some in a funny way. (Even the toilet of the bookstore has bookshelf installed)
